Use the power of the human mind through conversational hypnotism.
Conversational Hypnosis Process
There are three steps involved:
- Affinity
This is simply the hypnotist establishing a comfortable relationship with the subject. The hypnotist will listen and identify with the subject’s situation.
- Distraction
The next step happens when the hypnotist starts to “distract” the subject’s perception of the condition by asking questions. This will be hypothetical and unrelated questions which will let the subject “think” of other things.
- Proposition
Since there is a diversion of thoughts from the problem, the hypnotist can make suggestions to assist the subject in dealing with his or her problem. One way hypnotist would do this last part is to let the subject picture himself or herself happy and at peace in the near future.
What is conversational hypnosis?
The conversational hypnotism method is just as effective as the traditional one for it has been used to help in certain traumas and other problems.
The object behind conversational hypnotism is communication between hypnotist and the one being hypnotized. The technique involves the hypnotist to ask or make statements that will persuade the subject to change his or her outlook on the situation or problem by using options or solutions.
