Today You Can Set Out To Influence Significant Other People

Today you will learn the way to use NLP techniques to persuade the views and thinking of those you wish to influence.
You know what your personal thinking pattern is. You should also, if you did yesterday’s exercise, have discovered the thinking patterns of one or two important people whom you would like to influence.
Now all you have to do is adapt to the other person’s thinking patterns. Make sure you use the language of their preferred thinking pattern whenever you are conversing with them.
Yes, it is as straightforward as that!
If the other person whom you wish to influence is Auditory then you need to speak with them in Auditory language. Use phrases like: “I’m happy to hear it”, “tell me how that may work?” “my teeth are chattering”, “it just clicked into place”, “listen to yourself”, “music to my ears” when you are talking to them.
In a similar fashion, when you talk to a person with a Visual style whom you wish to influence you need to use phrases like: “the future looks bright”, “dim view”, “I see what you mean”, “he’s in a black mood”, “I look forward to seeing you”, “Things are looking up”.
They’re going to think, unconsciously, this individual is like me, they must like me, they understand me. They think this because you are allowing them to feel at ease by talking to them in their own language patterns.
If you analyse the language of great communicators you’ll find they are experts at employing language that makes people with all thinking patterns feel comfortable. It could even be that the reason why Shakespeare is still popular is that he somehow had mastered this.
Research into the speeches of famous orators like John F. Kennedy and Winston Churchill shows that those speeches were peppered with phrases which would appeal to people of all the different thinking styles.
It is often said that one of the talents that enabled Barak Obama to become President of the Usa was his ability to spin good language patterns into his election broadcasts.
As an NLP Practitioner my mission is, “to enable you to make changes in your thinking, your feelings and your behaviour that will make your performance excellent both at work and in your personal life”. I am getting results for the workers of major companies like Dell, Yves St.Laurent, J&J, RBI, GM and P&O through business coaching using NLP Techniques.
